Top Ten Tuesday (#15)

toptentuesday2

Just like with Musing Mondays, I missed last week’s Top Ten Tuesday sadly. But I’m back this week and just in time for a freebie Top Ten too!

For those of you who don’t know what Top Ten Tuesday is all about, here is a quote from The Broke and the Bookish, the genuises behind this weekly meme!

Each week we will post a new Top Ten list  that one of our bloggers here at The Broke and the Bookish will answer. Everyone is welcome to join. All we ask is that you link back to The Broke and the Bookish on your own Top Ten Tuesday post and, if you want to, add your name to the Linky widget on that day’s posts (typically put up midnight EST on Tuesday) so that everyone can check out other bloggers lists! If you don’t have a blog, just post your answers as a comment. Have fun with it! It’s a fun way to get to know your fellow bloggers.

Aaaaand this week’s prompt is:

FREEBIE! So the list I’m going to come up with is the top 10 diverse books I look forward to reading in 2017!

I had to add a pic of my favourite Disney princess and her prince of course!

I’ve read a few of these; I really liked Binti and am looking forward to the sequel coming out next week. Swing Time is good too. I’ve got loads of books set in Africa on my TBR in the next few months; I’m really excited to read The January Children and Allegedly arrived on my Kindle today.

That’s great to hear! I look forward to reading them just that much more now!

And that’s awesome! I need more African-setting books in my TBR. I’ll also be sure to check out The January Children, since I hadn’t heard of that yet!

      Thanks so much for reading!

I haven’t heard of Girls of Riyadh, I’m definitely going to check that out. Queens of Geek just got recommended to me the other day and I’m super excited to pick it up soon! A lot of these books were fantastic debuts, and I’m glad so many of them have sequels out or soon to be released so you don’t have to wait to get your hands on the next part of the story. I hope you enjoy all of these 🙂

I did a very similar theme for this week – mine was diverse books releasing this year. 🙂 The Star-Touched Queen and Sofia Khan are books that I’m hoping to get to this year. I’m also participating in a blog tour for Queens of Geek and I’m really excited to read it! Great choices 🙂

Carry On is an amazing book, I read it back last year and it’s remained a firm favourite of mine. I’m really interested in reading Queens of Geek, too, so thank you for recommending that!
I wish you luck in reading all of these books this year!

Ahhh that’s so good to hear! I read a chapter or 2 last year, but I was way too swamped with other books I had deadlines for, so I wasn’t able to continue and took it back to the library. But THIS YEAR I’m going to read it!

And you’re very welcome! I hope it’ll be as fun a read as it sounds! I’m part of the blog tour for it, so keep an eye out if you want to read my review before buying 😉

Thanks so much and good luck to you too! Also thank you for your comment!!! 😀
