Currently Reading, Watching, Trying (#1)

ezgif-1-0cca031349Hello everyone! And welcome to my first Currently Reading, Watching, Trying post! This is a new post series which I am starting today just because I do not always participate in blog memes, and when I do, they are generally only about books. I thought that since I have kind of broadened the subject matter which I discuss on my blog (now there’s not only books ((although mainly)), but also films, TV shows, make-up & beauty products, bookish products, and subscription boxes. I’ve also done some travel blogging, and will be doing more of it close to, and in, May…but that doesn’t really apply to this new post series). I will try to make these posts weekly, or bi-weekly in order to keep you guys updated on what I’m doing, especially if I don’t complete any memes, and only post reviews, if anything else at all. Life gets busy sometimes, let’s be real.

So I’ll just get right into it!

– CURRENTLY READING –

I’m currently reading three books which I have been meaning to for a while, and have been quite excited for! Queens of Geek  comes out in FOUR days, and I have been enjoying it so far! Need to spend a bit more time with it this weekend though! The Star-Touched Queen has been in my TBR since early last year, and same with The Glittering Court! I’ve just started the former, but was pulled in by the first chapter, and will be finishing the latter probably this weekend! Sources: Queens of Geek I have received as a physical ARC, The Star-Touched Queen I have borrowed from the library, and The Glittering Court I am audiobooking digitally through my local library.

– CURRENTLY WATCHING –

I’ve been watching Goblin: The Great and Lonely God with my bestie for a few weeks now and am loving it! It is so good. Seriously. If I wasn’t trying to be a good friend and wait for her, I would have finished this kdrama LONG ago, hahaha. I am also watching another kdrama on my own, to distract me from Goblin, and so that I have something to watch while I wait on the bestie to watch Goblin with me, haha. I’d been seeing stuff here and there about Scarlet Heart: RyeoMoon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo for a bit now, and when I finished Reply 1988 and was picking a new drama to watch, this one fell into first place! I’m on episode 3 and it’s also very good so far! Sources: I am watching both of these shows on www.dramafever.com! That is my go-to place for drama-watching (and I have a paid account for some years now) even though I used to be a www.viki.com girl only! Now I only go on Viki when Dramafever is down, although both sites are good!

Nice blog post. Where do you get the Korean drama’s to watch? Are they online? I used to be able to get Asian dramas when I lived in Toronto, but here in the UK they are hard to find. So I guess my suggestion for next post is to say where you access whatever it is you are watching (say, for example, Netflix or Amazon or whatever).

Thanks so much for reading! And you also reminded me of something which I’d meant to include in the post and forgot! I watch my Korean dramas on dramawiki.com! I don’t know if that will work in the UK though…but maybe! I think they’ve been expanding. And when dramawiki is down, I watch some episodes (if they’re free) on Viki.com 🙂 I hope at least one of those work for you! And speaking of Netflix, in Canada we also have some Asian dramas on Netflix! Thanks for the suggestion 😀
