Most Active Blog Award

most-active-blog-award

I sadly usually no longer have time to complete posts for blog awards, but since this one is so simple to fill out and pass along to other bloggers, I thought that I would just sit down and complete it! First of all, a big thank you to Ashley and Sabrina over at 5171 Miles Book Blog for nominating me! Their story is so cute, and when I realized the meaning behind the name of their blog, it actually brought tears to my eyes! You should definitely check them out.

13 Halloween/Spooky Movies that I’m Re-watching this October

this

Some of you may have seen me mention this blog post idea on Twitter, and some of you may be hearing about this for the very first time. Before some readers get excited that this will contain some super creepy movies, I just wanted to let you know that yes, I’ve seen movies like The Conjuring, and Insidious, etc. and while they were quite thrilling to watch (at the time), I really suffered from lack of sleep afterward! Hahaha. I will therefore likely never re-watch those! This list will contain movies with monsters, ghosts, vampires, etc. which I actually enjoy watching, and which I can sleep quite peacefully after. Haha. So, I’m very excited to share the 13 movies that I’ve been/will be re-watching this October (with those of you who decide to stick around), on this very cursed day, Friday the 13th!

Currently Reading, Watching, Listening To, Trying (#8)

ezgif-1-f3fef490bdI haven’t made one of these posts since August 16th, so I thought that it was due time to make another! Of course, I can’t bring myself to change the intro GIF for these posts, because it’s so fitting, and it’s BTS, and look at how cute they were with their light/pastel hair colours! My cuties. I still remember when they started out…and now I may have to re-visit my very out of date kpop collection. Haha. But anyway, here’s what I’ve been reading, watching, listening to, and trying!

Currently Reading, Watching, Listening To, Trying (#7)

ezgif-1-f3fef490bdIt’s update time! First of all, I wanted to apologize for the lack of reviews (and post in general) over the last few weeks. My boyfriend had 2 weeks off (and he doesn’t like to relax and sit around too much, but loves spending time with me…so you can put 2 and 2 together). I was also preparing for, and attending, multiple interviews, which also took up some of my time. And what about weekends, you ask? Those are just as insane, if not more so! But, there has been some progress, so please read on if you enjoy these posts!

Dark Tower I: The Gunslinger: Film Tie-In by Stephen King (Giveaway) [Closed]

the-dark-tower-i-9781501168369_hrIs anyone else excited for the film release of the first Dark Tower movie? Because I know that I sure am! While I have never read the books, I always found that something drew me to them whenever I saw them at a book store. I would always stop and look the books over, especially once they were being sold in a box set. One of my local book stores had a really good sale on the box set of all of the Dark Tower books, and now I really regret not going for it! Anyone else have moments like that? I’ve been meaning to read Stephen King for years! But because in my head I knew him as an author of some of the most frightening horror stories on earth, I kind of avoided all of his books in stead. This series might change that for me though!

Monthly Wrap-Up (July 2017)

051c03bf81b3211f4a67222f665a6e5aacfce467_hq.gifJin and his kisses were such a hit last month that I decided to let him send you more kisses with this July wrap-up! Wow, it’s August already! I don’t know if I feel as if July went by quickly or slowly…it seems to change for me depending on the day. But I feel like it’s the former more than the latter. Summers usually fly by for me because I’m a lot more busy with friends and family while we’re enjoying the (usually) nicer weather here in Canada. Winter has all of us feeling a lot more lethargic, which is fine since that means more reading and blogging time for me. But anyways, here is what’s been going on on Flavia the Bibliophile in the past month!
