Top Ten Tuesday (#34): Top Ten Yummy Foods Mentioned In Books

                     top-ten-tuesday-halloween-edition

Happy Tuesday and TTT day! This week, we’re all going to leave each other’s posts feeling quite hungry, because this weeks prompt is all about food! Now, if you’re a foodie like me, you will have jumped right to your “read” list on Goodreads and made a top 10 list in no time! Books mention snacks that make me want to try them, or eat them again, all the time! So, I will usually remember which books mentioned which foods, and how badly I wanted to eat said foods, haha. Let’s dig in, shall we?

13 Halloween/Spooky Movies that I’m Re-watching this October

this

Some of you may have seen me mention this blog post idea on Twitter, and some of you may be hearing about this for the very first time. Before some readers get excited that this will contain some super creepy movies, I just wanted to let you know that yes, I’ve seen movies like The Conjuring, and Insidious, etc. and while they were quite thrilling to watch (at the time), I really suffered from lack of sleep afterward! Hahaha. I will therefore likely never re-watch those! This list will contain movies with monsters, ghosts, vampires, etc. which I actually enjoy watching, and which I can sleep quite peacefully after. Haha. So, I’m very excited to share the 13 movies that I’ve been/will be re-watching this October (with those of you who decide to stick around), on this very cursed day, Friday the 13th!

First of all, I would like to say thank you to Never Not Reading for tagging me to complete this awesome book tag created by her! Second, I would like to say that I’m so happy this tag exists now because I LOVE Hocus Pocus (and in fact re-watched it yesterday, haha). Hocus Pocus plus books is like…heaven for me! Also, please feel free to complete the tag, even if I haven’t tagged you! Just be sure to follow the rules!

Top Ten Tuesday (#33): Ten Books With Fall/Autumn Covers/Themes

                     top-ten-tuesday-halloween-edition

And we’re back this Tuesday with another exciting prompt…Ten Books With Fall/Autumn Covers/Themes! Yes, I know, I love Autumn way too much. But I’m a strong believer that it’s better to fill your life with things that you like and love, than the opposite. Yes. Positivity! My spellchecker is saying that that is not a real world. Too bad. Anyway, this prompt was harder for me to complete than I’d first imagined. When I first saw the prompt over on The Broke and the Bookish I just kind of smiled to myself, cracked my knuckles, and started a search that I thought would be very short and very yielding. I was so very wrong, and in the end, ended up listing a bunch of books that I have not read yet! Some of them are not published yet, sure, but the rest….What’s my excuse? The upside of this adventure, is that I came across some books that I’d never seen or heard of before! But anyway, on to my top ten list!

Top Ten Tuesday (#4): Top Ten Horror / Paranormal / Halloween-ish Books That I’ve Read

top-ten-tuesday-halloween-edition

I am very excited to have time for another Top Ten Tuesday post! I really do enjoy these, and this one in particular, sounds like it’ll be especially fun! I mean, it’s Halloween themed, so how could it not be?!

“This week’s topic is a Halloween related freebie: scary books, favorite horror novels, non-scary books to get you in the Halloween/fall mood, bookish halloween costumes, scariest book covers, scary books on my TBR, etc.”
