Most Active Blog Award

most-active-blog-award

I sadly usually no longer have time to complete posts for blog awards, but since this one is so simple to fill out and pass along to other bloggers, I thought that I would just sit down and complete it! First of all, a big thank you to Ashley and Sabrina over at 5171 Miles Book Blog for nominating me! Their story is so cute, and when I realized the meaning behind the name of their blog, it actually brought tears to my eyes! You should definitely check them out.

My Top 10 Favourite Korean Dramas

tumblr_nm57tip9zc1skrvpzo1_500

I’ve been wanting to make a post like this for some time, and I finally said “heck, let’s jsut do it!” Even if no one ends up reading it, I know that I’ll have fun compiling this post, cause it’ll make me re-experience some of my favourite kdramas (at least a little bit)! I’ve been watching kdramas for maybe 10 years now? So, my list will contain some good oldies, as well as some good newer ones. Please keep in mind that I have not watched any dramas since I got back from Korea and Japan in June, so please don’t mad if some of the dramas didn’t make it on the list! Plus, this is a very personal top 10! I am in no way claiming that these should be everyone’s top 10 Korean dramas. Also, I will be counting backward from 10 to 1, so as to keep my favourite kdrama of all time a surprise for the end! Okay. Let’s dive in!

Japan and Korea 2017 (Day 5) Part 2: Ikegami, and Harajuku (the Meiji Shrine and Takashita Street)

IMG_1497I’m very very sorry about how late this post is! My life sort of exploded, and I really had to prioritize books, and book reviews for a while! Part 1 of this post went up on July 27th, and that is kind of ridiculous. Considering that I had to split Day 5 up into 2 parts, I am extremely sorry that I had to make all of you wait so long for Part 2! That being said, I think that this is one of the more exciting posts about my travels through Japan and Korea in May of this year. I mean, Harajuku and the Meiji Shrine are both pretty famous places! But I’ll let you be the judge.

Japan and Korea 2017 (Day 5) Part 1: Akihabara, and Shin Okubo

IMG_1481It appears that I’ve lost some momentum when it comes to these posts. Or maybe I’m in over my head when it comes to the other content on my blog. There’s also the fact that I get a little (to very) sad whenever I write these posts, because I miss Japan and my friends so much. But whichever the case, it’s looking like I’ll be posting these every 1-2 weeks, and I’m sorry about that! I’ll be uploading this post on a Thursday rather than a Friday to make up for it (not that that’s really much of a treat)! I hope that the wait will have been worth it because let me tell you…Day 5 was insanely busy, as it was a day we wanted to dedicate to Japan’s capital, and my planning skills are apparently amazing enough for us to cover four famous districts of Tokyo! Due to how much we did in one day though, I’ll be sectioning this day off into two parts! Continue reading for part 1!

Currently Reading, Watching, Listening To, Trying (#4)

ezgif-1-f3fef490bdWow! It’s been nearly 2 months since the last time I posted one of these. I’m awful, I’m sorry! In my defense though I didn’t really post anything on this blog for the 20+ days that I was away, haha. As some of you may have noticed, I added a section to this blog series titled “currently listening to” or “current top 10”! Due to the friends I hung out with, and the fact that we went to South Korea (ugh such a good trip), I returned to Canada with a renewed love and appreciation for kpop! I will therefore be including a top 10 kpop (and whatever music I may be listening to, which can definitely vary in genre) to each of these posts from now on! Please read on if you’re interested in what I’m currently obsessing over entertaining myself with!

Currently Reading, Watching, Trying (#3)

ezgif-1-f3fef490bdIt’s been far too long since I’ve had time to make one of these posts, and I’m very sorry to all of you for that! But here it finally is, #3 of my Currently Reading, Watching, Trying series! I’m sad to have missed the opportunity to discuss some of the books I’ve read, and some of the shows I’ve watched since my last update post like this, but luckily I was able to review them all, so you can check my thoughts about each of those things that way! I’ve also been thinking of adding a “Listening to” section, where I share what’s on my most current playlist. What do you guys think?
