Another month has gone by! And so quickly too. How does that happen? It must be because I really really love October and Halloween. Probably. Anyway, the past few weeks have been quite busy for me, and I’m actually surprised that I posted as often as I did. Haha. Sometimes I wonder how I do it! Also, as you may notice…I’m using the same GIFs that I used for the September wrap-up, and that’s because I love Halloween and I think that they’re so cute (and funny haha)!
I sadly usually no longer have time to complete posts for blog awards, but since this one is so simple to fill out and pass along to other bloggers, I thought that I would just sit down and complete it! First of all, a big thank you to Ashley and Sabrina over at 5171 Miles Book Blog for nominating me! Their story is so cute, and when I realized the meaning behind the name of their blog, it actually brought tears to my eyes! You should definitely check them out.
Happy 1st of October (a.k.a. Halloween Month) everyone! I hope that you all had a wonderful September (even though I know a lot of you returned to school this past month, haha). I feel your pain, I do. I’m done with school…but I will always remember that mix of stress, excitement, and anxiety. Anyway, below I have listed all of the things that have happened on my blog this past September, as well as a crazy, insane, mega book haul! I didn’t even realize how many books I’d acquired this past month until I made this post! I might have to make a blog post about it, because I feel bad just showing you guys pictures about the insanity. Or maybe I’ll spare you the details, haha. Maybe let me know what you’d prefer? Happy reading!
I’m sorry guys, but Jin was too busy to send out kisses this time around. Also, I really wanted to use an autumn-themed GIF! And what can be more autumn-themed for me, than a pumpkin and a Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte?! Well, maybe a few things. Or many things. But, these are two out of the many things that I love about autumn. I also love Fall fashion, bundling up with a cup of hot tea and a good book. Alright. On to the re-cap!
Jin and his kisses were such a hit last month that I decided to let him send you more kisses with this July wrap-up! Wow, it’s August already! I don’t know if I feel as if July went by quickly or slowly…it seems to change for me depending on the day. But I feel like it’s the former more than the latter. Summers usually fly by for me because I’m a lot more busy with friends and family while we’re enjoying the (usually) nicer weather here in Canada. Winter has all of us feeling a lot more lethargic, which is fine since that means more reading and blogging time for me. But anyways, here is what’s been going on on Flavia the Bibliophile in the past month!
Well, this is the first NOT book-related tag I’ve been tagged in and I’m excited to start! Let’s see if I can answer these questions properly, shall we? But first, a big thank you to Idea Girl for tagging me, and Leo at Inkgirl Words for creating the tag!

Hello everyone! (Please enjoy the kisses sent to you from my BTS bias, Jin, GIF on the left)! He is seriously the cutest and dorkiest, and I love him. But anyway! As some of you may have noticed, I did not post a monthly wrap-up for May, and that’s because I was away on vacation for most of that month, and therefore hadn’t posted enough to put in a wrap-up! So, just as I’ve done with March and April, I decided to just attach the posts from May to my June wrap-up, and just put them up that way together. It just made more sense to me!
As it’s finally time for part 5, and it’s only fitting since it’s about packing, and today is my last day in Canada until May 31st! In the case that this is the first time you are stumbling upon one of these posts of mine, welcome to my travel prep series! In a series of 5 posts, I have (and will be) discussing how I get ready for my trips abroad in the hopes that it will help some of you prepare for future trips of your own! In this post I will be discussing everything to do with packing! (And you will see below, why packing gets an entire post to itself!) Also, if you would like to read parts 1-4 first, you can find links to all of them below this article! If you have already read the previous sections, or would just like to jump right in part 5, please read on!
Ello! Here is Part 4! With just 2 days to go before I leave, I am slowly reaching the end of this series, while also preparing to go! Writing these posts also keeps me from going insane from excitement and anxiety, haha. In the case that this is the first time you are stumbling upon one of these posts of mine, welcome to my travel prep series! In a series of 5 posts, I have (and will be) discussing how I get ready for my trips abroad in the hopes that it will help some of you prepare for future trips of your own! In this post I will be discussing attractions and internet! Also, if you would like to read parts 1-3 first, you can read them here: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3! If you have already read the previous sections, or would just like to jump right in part 4, please read on!
It’s time for Part 2! Are you excited, because I know I sure am! This blog post is the reason why I got out of bed this morning. Haha. And I just made myself sound like a sad sad person, but to explain, I finished my contract full time work last Friday, and doing volunteer work toward that project before my trip. Plus it’s been very rainy here, which turns me into a zombie. Thus, getting up was a little hard, until I remembered that I would be writing this post for you guys, and publishing it today!
As some of you will know, I have been toying with the idea of travel blogging while I’m away on my trip this May. By this point, I know for sure that I will be writing a series of posts, although I am still figuring out how they will be set up and such. Some time last night, while mulling this all over, I realized that some of you might not be interested only in the trip itself, but also the days leading up to it. I know that before I started traveling (especially traveling on my own), that I did a lot of research regarding packing, and other such preparations. Now, I want to hopefully be “that person” who wrote “that article” which helped someone prepare for and plan out their trip! This is the second installment in the series, and if you’re interested in reading Part 1, you can do so here! If you want to read Part 2 now, please read on!
