Another month has gone by! And so quickly too. How does that happen? It must be because I really really love October and Halloween. Probably. Anyway, the past few weeks have been quite busy for me, and I’m actually surprised that I posted as often as I did. Haha. Sometimes I wonder how I do it! Also, as you may notice…I’m using the same GIFs that I used for the September wrap-up, and that’s because I love Halloween and I think that they’re so cute (and funny haha)!
It’s finally time for another episode of Flavia goes to Japan and South Korea! Just kidding. Unless you think of these as episodes. Which is fine. Haha. Anyway, as you can probably tell from the other posts I’ve made about this trip, we made sure to stay busy every single day! Because Day 6 was just as busy as Day 5, I have decided to split this day up into two posts as well! I don’t want to overwhelm you all with too much stuff, and I also dislike when my posts look too long, haha. If you want to find out more about some of the planning that went into this trip, as well as about the first half of Day 6 (of course), read on!
I sadly usually no longer have time to complete posts for blog awards, but since this one is so simple to fill out and pass along to other bloggers, I thought that I would just sit down and complete it! First of all, a big thank you to Ashley and Sabrina over at 5171 Miles Book Blog for nominating me! Their story is so cute, and when I realized the meaning behind the name of their blog, it actually brought tears to my eyes! You should definitely check them out.
I’m very very sorry about how late this post is! My life sort of exploded, and I really had to prioritize books, and book reviews for a while! Part 1 of this post went up on July 27th, and that is kind of ridiculous. Considering that I had to split Day 5 up into 2 parts, I am extremely sorry that I had to make all of you wait so long for Part 2! That being said, I think that this is one of the more exciting posts about my travels through Japan and Korea in May of this year. I mean, Harajuku and the Meiji Shrine are both pretty famous places! But I’ll let you be the judge.
Happy 1st of October (a.k.a. Halloween Month) everyone! I hope that you all had a wonderful September (even though I know a lot of you returned to school this past month, haha). I feel your pain, I do. I’m done with school…but I will always remember that mix of stress, excitement, and anxiety. Anyway, below I have listed all of the things that have happened on my blog this past September, as well as a crazy, insane, mega book haul! I didn’t even realize how many books I’d acquired this past month until I made this post! I might have to make a blog post about it, because I feel bad just showing you guys pictures about the insanity. Or maybe I’ll spare you the details, haha. Maybe let me know what you’d prefer? Happy reading!
I’m sorry guys, but Jin was too busy to send out kisses this time around. Also, I really wanted to use an autumn-themed GIF! And what can be more autumn-themed for me, than a pumpkin and a Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte?! Well, maybe a few things. Or many things. But, these are two out of the many things that I love about autumn. I also love Fall fashion, bundling up with a cup of hot tea and a good book. Alright. On to the re-cap!
Jin and his kisses were such a hit last month that I decided to let him send you more kisses with this July wrap-up! Wow, it’s August already! I don’t know if I feel as if July went by quickly or slowly…it seems to change for me depending on the day. But I feel like it’s the former more than the latter. Summers usually fly by for me because I’m a lot more busy with friends and family while we’re enjoying the (usually) nicer weather here in Canada. Winter has all of us feeling a lot more lethargic, which is fine since that means more reading and blogging time for me. But anyways, here is what’s been going on on Flavia the Bibliophile in the past month!
It appears that I’ve lost some momentum when it comes to these posts. Or maybe I’m in over my head when it comes to the other content on my blog. There’s also the fact that I get a little (to very) sad whenever I write these posts, because I miss Japan and my friends so much. But whichever the case, it’s looking like I’ll be posting these every 1-2 weeks, and I’m sorry about that! I’ll be uploading this post on a Thursday rather than a Friday to make up for it (not that that’s really much of a treat)! I hope that the wait will have been worth it because let me tell you…Day 5 was insanely busy, as it was a day we wanted to dedicate to Japan’s capital, and my planning skills are apparently amazing enough for us to cover four famous districts of Tokyo! Due to how much we did in one day though, I’ll be sectioning this day off into two parts! Continue reading for part 1!
Well, this is the first NOT book-related tag I’ve been tagged in and I’m excited to start! Let’s see if I can answer these questions properly, shall we? But first, a big thank you to Idea Girl for tagging me, and Leo at Inkgirl Words for creating the tag!

I’m so so sorry that it took me so long (a few weeks) to write Day 4 for you guys! I was dealing with some work-related stuff, and also experiencing some of that post-travel depression I think I’ve mentioned before. I should have known that it would come back. Guys, I really really miss Japan and Korea, and have no idea when I’ll be able to go back. And if I do go again, I might not come back! Dangerous, haha. But anyway, Day 4 we spent mostly wandering through different parts of Kamakura, which is a coastal town close to Tokyo. Read on if this sounds like something that interests you!
